Hoeneß: “Real Madrid have extraordinary qualities”

Uli Hoeneß, the former president of Bayern Munich, has praised Real Madrid ahead of the two sides' Champions League semi-final clash.

“Real Madrid have extraordinary qualities,” said Hoeneß. “They have a great team, a great coach, and a great history. They are always a dangerous opponent.”

Hoeneß also believes that Real Madrid will be a tough opponent for Bayern Munich.

“It will be a very difficult game for us,” said Hoeneß. “Real Madrid are a very experienced team, and they know how to win. We will need to be at our best to beat them.”

Hoeneß's comments come ahead of the first leg of the Champions League semi-final between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, which will be played at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, April 26.

The second leg will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday, May 2.
