Team USA Competes in Olympic Gymnastics Women's Team Final

Tokyo, Japan - The United States women's gymnastics team is competing in the team final today, July 27th, at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. The team, which is led by reigning Olympic champion Simone Biles, is the favorite to win the gold medal.
The competition will begin at 4:45 a.m. Eastern Time and will be broadcast live on NBC. The team final will consist of four rotations, with each gymnast competing on all four apparatuses - vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
The United States team is the defending champion, having won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The team is also the reigning world champion, having won the title at the 2019 World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany.
In addition to Biles, the United States team also includes Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Grace McCallum. The team is coached by Tom Forster.
